1. Provider and scope
dopa-writing (the “App”) is provided by the provider identified in the Seller field on the App Store, operating under the name ヨダカ (yodaka) (the “Provider”).
This policy explains information handling for the publicly released iPhone version distributed through the App Store, the App's informational, legal and support web pages, and support inquiries. The App itself, web pages and inquiries handle different information.

2. Data collection from the App
The App does not automatically send your writing, usage records, device identifiers, interaction history or crash information to the Provider or external update or analytics services. The Provider does not collect user data from the App.
Writing and records are stored and processed on your device. No separate account is required. The App does not provide advertising, behavioral tracking, external usage analytics or AI processing that sends your writing to an external service. App updates are distributed through the App Store.
Copying, inquiries and web browsing that you choose to perform, and Apple's purchase and backup services, are described below.
3. Information processed on your device
The App stores or temporarily processes the following on your device to provide its features:
- Writing and flash ideas you choose to keep, journals, and reasons entered for emergency unlocks
- In-progress writing, answers, self-reported usage time, target time and progress needed to resume initial setup
- Writing dates, character counts, writing duration, and records of actions such as keeping, releasing and copying
- dopakaki growth and harvest state, favorites, display language, usage counts and other settings
- Selected restriction targets, intervention levels and schedules, usage thresholds reached, and unlock or emergency-unlock state
- Purchase entitlement, product and expiration information obtained from Apple and checked on your device
Screen Time targets are selected using Apple's system interface. Selection information needed for restrictions is shared locally between the App and its restriction components. The Provider has no mechanism to remotely view the apps you selected or their usage records.
4. Keeping, releasing and deleting records
When finishing a writing session, only the writing and flash ideas you select to keep are stored as writing records. Content you choose not to keep is not added as a new saved writing record. Character counts, writing duration, action dates and similar records remain on your device. An initial-setup draft is stored locally so you can resume and is removed from the draft when the first writing completion is successfully processed.
Journal entries and edits are saved separately from your choice about keeping the writing-session text. Choosing Release does not erase journals, previously saved writing, emergency-unlock reasons or content you have already copied.
Saved data remains on your device until changed using available editing controls or the App is deleted. The current version does not have an in-app control to erase all saved records at once. Replaying the introduction restarts setup; it does not erase all existing writing or records.
To delete the App's data on your device, choose Delete App in iPhone settings or another iOS deletion control. Offload App preserves documents and data. Copies you made and Apple backups may remain after deletion. Restoring a backup may restore previous records.
The Provider does not hold your on-device writing and cannot remotely view, recover or erase it. This policy does not promise irrecoverable erasure from device storage, backups or places to which you copied content.
5. Screen Time permission and copying
Screen Time restrictions are applied only after you authorize them in Apple's system interface. You can revoke permission in iPhone settings. Restriction features then become unavailable, but you can still write, save and review your writing. Revoking permission does not delete saved writing.
When you choose Copy, the selected text is written to the device clipboard. Apps into which you paste it, and features such as Apple's Universal Clipboard, handle it according to your actions, settings and their respective practices.
6. Apple purchases, backups and other services
Purchases, billing, subscription management, restoration and refunds use Apple's systems. The App obtains and checks purchase entitlement information from Apple on your device to determine available features. It does not send that information to a Provider server. The Provider does not obtain card numbers or your Apple Account password through the App.
Depending on your settings, App data may be included in iCloud backups, computer backups or device transfers. The App does not offer its own cloud synchronization service.
Purchase, distribution, backup, diagnostic and other information processed by Apple itself is governed by Apple's settings and Privacy Policy.
7. Information received through inquiries
Only when you voluntarily send an email does the Provider receive your sender address, display name, message, attachments and associated communication information. The App does not automatically attach or send writing or device information. Include device model, OS or App version, reproduction steps and similar details only as needed.
This information is used to reply, investigate issues, handle purchase or privacy requests, address abuse and maintain necessary support records. It is not used for advertising or newsletters. You can use the App without contacting us, although missing information needed for an investigation may limit the assistance available.
Do not send your writing or journal text, other people's personal information, passwords or card information. Remove unnecessary personal information from images and logs before sending them.
The Provider uses Google's Gmail to receive and store email. Google also handles information necessary to process those messages. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Inquiry information is kept only as long as necessary to handle the inquiry and related disputes or abuse, and deleted when no longer needed. Where law requires retention, necessary information is kept for the required period. Send deletion and other requests to the contact address above.
8. Information when you visit web pages
The App's informational, legal and support web pages are delivered using Cloudflare. When you open a page, connection information such as IP address, access time, requested address and browser information may be processed and logged to deliver the page, maintain security and investigate problems. These pages do not have a feature for uploading writing or journal text.
The Provider does not install advertising trackers or analytics tags such as Google Analytics on these pages. Processing and retention by delivery and security services depend on their features, settings and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Logs obtained by the Provider are retained only as necessary for the purposes above and deleted when no longer needed.
9. Sharing, security and international processing
The Provider does not sell received personal information or disclose it to third parties for advertising. Service providers needed for email and web delivery process information only within the scope necessary for those purposes. The Provider checks safeguards and agreements required by applicable law and applies appropriate security measures. Necessary information may be disclosed to comply with legal obligations or lawful disclosure demands.
Inquiry information and web connection information may be processed by the Provider and service providers in Japan, the United States and other countries. International processing uses transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable law. Details are available through the contact address. This does not involve sending your App writing to overseas servers.
The Provider limits access to information as needed and takes measures against disclosure, loss and unauthorized access. Please also protect writing on your device through measures such as a device lock and OS updates.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, cessation or restriction of processing, object to processing, or request portability of personal information held by the Provider. The Provider checks only information necessary to verify the requester's identity and responds within legally required periods and limits. You can also use the contact address for inquiries about the Provider's legal identity and information handling.
Where EEA, UK or similar laws apply, processing is limited as necessary on the basis of performing a contract or responding to pre-contract requests for relevant inquiries, legitimate interests for general support and service protection, or legal obligations for required compliance. Where consent is required, it is requested separately and can be withdrawn later without affecting lawful processing before withdrawal. You may also complain to a competent supervisory authority, including in your place of residence.
The Provider does not use received personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
11. Children
The App is a general-audience service and is not directed primarily at children. Minors should obtain a parent or guardian's consent for purchases and inquiries where required by local law. If the Provider learns that a child's personal information was received without legally required parental consent, it will be deleted or otherwise handled as required by law.
12. Changes and contact
Changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes in information handling will be communicated through appropriate means, such as in the App, and consent will be obtained before the new handling begins where required by law.
